Interior Adhesion of Tiles to Cement Board
Showers, Decks and Wet Areas

Waterproof all wet areas using the Flexiseal™ liscensed waterproofing system. Click here for recommendations and your nearest applicator.

Use "Flexi Wall 'n Floor 2 Part Adhesive" in accordance with manufacturer's instructions to adhere tiles. (Do not use dispersion adhesives such as "Flexi Wall 'n Floor 1 Pot"). For other recommended adhesives visit the adhesives section of this website.

Grout tiles with Flexco Smooth or Sanded Grout.
Wet Areas not requiring tanking (Semi-Wet Areas)

Prime and seal using "Flexi Wall 'n Floor™ Sealer Primer".

Use "Flexi Wall 'n Floor 2 Part" adhesive in accordance with manufacturer's instructions to adhere tiles. Other recomended adhesives.

For walls, "Flexi Wall 'n Floor 1 Pot" can be used.

Grout tiles with Flexco Smooth or Sanded Grout.
Cement Board on Wooden Floors

Firstly ensure the cement board is properly installed.

If necessary prime and seal with "Flexi Wall 'n Floor™ Sealer Primer".

Use "Flexi Wall 'n Floor 2 Part" adhesive in accordance with manufacturer's instructions. Other recommended adhesives.

Grout tiles with Flexco Smooth or Sanded Grout.
Interior Walls

Use "Flexi Wall 'n Floor 2 Part" adhesive or "Flexi Wall 'n Floor 1 Pot" in accordance with manufacturer's instruction. Other recommended adhesives.

Grout tiles with Flexco Smooth or Sanded Grout.

Flexco (NZ) LTD will not be responsible for adhesive washout due to water ingress from rain or sprinklers prior to cure of the adhesive.
It is the subcontractors responsibility to ensure there has been sufficient cure time of the adhesive allowed prior to traffic, and that all precautions are taken to avoid ingress of water from rain etc during the cure phase.
